December Newsletter

Dear praying friends,

We pray everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We are now looking forward to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Last month was wonderful!  We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with some other Missionary friends here in Mexico. There are many things we are thankful for, one in particular is each and everyone of you. We can not say thank you enough for all the prayers and support you have given us these past four months, as we have settled in Mexico. It has been a big change from the life style of traveling on the road continually, but it is a change we have loved. 

This past month was Missions Conference at the Church where we are attending language school. It is such an encouragement to see the people here have such a heart for missions. We had a international dinner at the end of the conference.  Everyone dressed for a country they were representing. There was also many areas of the church decorated representing each country. It was so much fun. There was a giant pyramid representing Egypt. There were many countries represented such as Peru, Argentina, France, Italy, Brazil, and serval others. 

There was also food from each country. After trying many dishes I have to say the dish Stephanie brought was the best! The faith promise was outstanding these people have promised to give what would be equivalent to a church in the states, giving a quarter of a million a year to missions. God is doing great things here in Mexico! 

Language School is going great we have such an amazing teacher. We are able to use what we have learned everyday in communicating with the people here. We are looking forward to the near future when we can go out and get our own independent work started! it is getting closer! 

We were beyond grateful to have a visitor from the states! Stephanie’s sister came down to visit us for a little while. It was a blessing to get to introduce her to the Mexican culture. Let me encourage you if you have never gone on a missions trip to do so. it will change the way you think and pray for Missions. 

Christmas is coming up soon and we hope that everyone has a blessed Christmas and God does something great in your lives. We know we are looking forward to the Holidays here. Everyone is getting bundled up. Lights and trees are being set out. It is a great time of the year. 

Please continue to pray for many souls to come to know Christ. This time of year people are listening more intently. We pray that not only many souls come to salvation here, but where each and everyone of you are as well. I get text’s from people and see post all the time back home that another soul has been saved! GOD IS GOOD!
